GBMail for All Residents

GBMail gives neighbors a way to help one another. All Greenbrier residents can join, whether or not they belong to the GPOA. Share a personal item for sale, ask about a lost or found pet, or seek neighbors’ suggestions for local contractors and services. The list is not for commercial, political, or religious commentary.

To join, email gbmailmaster2@gmail.com. You’ll receive the terms and conditions of use by email.

For GPOA Board notices and neighborhood or city updates, see the members-only GPOA Email section on the Membership page.

Yard Sale Signs

Planning a yard or garage sale? Greenbrier’s approved signs are available through the GPOA. Her's how to request and use the signs:

  1. Request signs. At least a week ahead of your yard sale, call Taylor Andersen at 757-663-1320 with your name, address, and sale date. Depending on availability, you can request one large sign and up to three small signs.
  2. Place them thoughtfully. Put signs out no earlier than two days before your sale. Be sure to obtain property owner’s permission before placing signs at an intersection.
  3. Return them. Return the clean signs and marker as soon as you can after the sale so the next neighbor can use them.

Mailboxes

Need help repairing or building a mailbox? Greenbrier residents Skip Bulkley (252-637-3205) and Chris Snyder (252-637-6941) may be able to help.

A repair or replacement that matches the original color and appearance does not require ACC action. For a different design, check the mailbox policy on Property Guidelines.

Solicitation and Neighborhood Safety

Greenbrier’s posted policy requires solicitors to have a permit. To check a solicitor’s credentials or report suspected trespassing, call the New Bern Police Department at 252-633-2020.

For questions about the GPOA solicitation process or to request a solicitation permit application,  email gpoa@greenbriernc.com or use the Contact page.

No Trespassing signs appear at each entrance that authorizes New Bern police officers to answer calls and patrol our neighborhood regarding unwanted activities on our common grounds. This permits police officers to use their judgement to investigate and act upon questionable observed activities. Contact the New Bern Police Department to report any suspected trespassers. For your safety, we encourage you to avoid direct confrontation and let the police address the situation on your behalf.
