Join the GPOA

Joining the GPOA is one way to lend a hand in caring for Greenbrier. Membership is voluntary, open to Greenbrier residents at any time, and costs $90 a year. The association serves properties throughout the neighborhood, including those in the seven HOA sections.


Ready to join? You're welcome any time.

  1. Download and complete the GPOA membership form.
  2. Include a check payable to GPOA for $90.
  3. Mail the form and check to GPOA, PO Box 13943, New Bern, NC 28561, or place them in the GPOA mailbox near the pro shop in The Emerald Clubhouse.

There's no deadline to join. The printed directory does have a production cutoff: to receive the 2026 directory, dues had to arrive by March 31, 2026. If you're joining later or have a question about your membership, please contact the GPOA. We're happy to help.

Printed Directory

The Greenbrier Directory is a printed way for participating members to stay in touch. It includes names, addresses, and phone numbers. Email addresses are not printed, and the directory is not posted on this public website.


All GPOA members who pay their annual dues by March 31, 2026 will receive a 2026 Greenbrier Directory. If you joined the GPOA later or have a question about the directory, please contact the GPOA.

As a GPOA member, you can sign up for GPOA Email through Greenbrier Mailchimp when you pay your dues. Just include your  email address on the membership form. You'll receive notices about GPOA events, street work and closures, and city messages affecting Greenbrier. Emails from the board have “GPOA Mail” in the header.


Already a member but missing those messages?

Email gpoa@greenbriernc.com with your name and Greenbrier address so we can check your enrollment.

How GPOA relates to your HOA

The GPOA and the seven HOAs have different roles. You can join the GPOA whether or not your property is in an HOA section. For rules or decisions specific to an HOA section, please review that HOA's covenants and contact its representative.
